Explain Us Over SC, ST Sub Plan Irregularities: Congress To CM

Hyderabad, Jan.24 (Maxim News): Former ministers T.Jeevan Reddy and D. Sridhar Babu today demanded an explanation from the chief minister KCR and his son KTR over the irregularities committed by the ruling TRS party leaders from Ramagundam Municipal Corporation in the issue of the utilisation of SC and ST sub plan funds.

Addressing media persons, they alleged that Peddapalle district collector and commissioner of the corporation behaved in a negligent manner in the allocation of the sub plan funds.

They also condemned the arrest of the party leaders who went to submit a representation on the issue of the irregularities to the officials concerned. They also wondered as to how the police entered the conference hall of the general body meeting of the municipal corporation.

They alleged that the local MLA and the Mayor of the corporation were concerned and were feeling insecure about the approval of the agenda issues of the general body meeting. They also wondered as to how the municipal corporations were doing the works of Singereni Collieries Company limited and sanctioning funds for the same. (Maxim News)
