Junior Doctors of Telangana Go On Strike
Hyderabad, May 26 (Maxim News): The Junior Doctors of Telangana have launched their protest program today demanding the state government to fulfil their long pending demands. He demanded the state government to fulfill its promise of paying double salaries to them. They have boycotted the duties in all wards of government hospitals except emergency services, corona unit and ICU.
They warned the state government that they would suspend all their services if their demands were not met by Friday this week. They said that they had already served a strike notice on the state government on tenth of this month. They demanded the state government to increase their monthly remuneration by 16 percent.
The doctors have also demanded the state government to pay 10 percent incentives, to all the junior and senior doctors . They also demanded the state government to set up a special isolation ward for all Judas at NIMS besides paying 10 percent incentives announced by the CM in the last year.
On the other the director of the directorate of medical education Dr. Ramesh Reddy said that they had not considered the application for their approval. The students have also demanded the state government to issue orders to all the principals and doctors of private hospitals and medical colleges of the state to make alternate arrangements at their hospitals.
