Arrangements for MLC Vote Counting Completed: How Long Will It Take to Declare Results?
Hyderabad, Oct.6 (Maxim News): Three candidates filed nominations today for the Huzurabad bypolls scheduled to be held on October 30.
According to information, the three candidates filed their nominations with the officials for the bypoll. The CEO Shashank Goel informed that the three candidates filed the nominations on Wednesday by 3 pm. They include one each from the Congress party, Anna YSR Congress Party and one independent respectively.
Those filed nominations were MD Mansoor Ali from the congress, Linga Reddy Vontela from the Anna YSR Congress party and Buchireddy Abbadi as the independent for the polls respectively.
The polls are on Oct 30 and the results to be announced on November 2 after counting the votes polled in Huzurabad segment.
The polls were caused by ouster of the then health minister Etala Rajender on land grab charges by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Collector RV Karnan informed that contestant candidates and political parties can conduct campaigns between 10 am to 7 pm. Poll campaign will not be allowed after 7 pm, the Collector made it clear while conducting meeting with election authorities.
Dhoom Dhams, dances and other election related programmes would not be allowed after 7 pm. There was a ban on taking out rallies and bike rallies while conducting election campaigns, he informed and warned to register a case under MCC if anybody violated Election Commission of India norms.
Political parties can mobilise 200 people to conduct indoor meetings, while 1,000 people were allowed to mobilize for star campaigners meetings. 500 people can participate in a common meeting. Poll campaign would be concluded 72 hours prior to the polling, he informed.
