Harish Rao Challenges Etela Rajender

Hyderabad, Oct.12 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today challenged the BJP leader Etela Rajender to prove his allegations on gas charges. He was addressing a doctors meeting at Penchikalpet in Huzurabad segment as part of the campaign for TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav. He denied charges of the BJP leader that Telangana levied Rs 291 on Gas cylinder which led to hike in charges. There is no truth in the charges being leveled by Rajender, he fumed. Harish Rao said that only 5 percent GST of Rs 47 being levied as per centre norms and nothing more, the FM clarified.

The Finance Minister asked the BJP leader to prove if his charges were right. Rajender, who dumped the segment and failed to develop, is now spreading falsehood for votes. He has no right to seek votes from the segment as he did not build a single house or complete any works here, he said. The Government would develop the segment after the voters support the TRS candidate win the by-elections, he said.

‘I have had a bond with the doctors for 20 years since the statehood movement and I trust their support, Harish Rao said. The Minister hoped that the voters aware of hike in gas and fuel charges will reject the BJP candidate in the polls. We see our Srinivas Yadav win the bypoll to develop and vie for welfare, he added.
