Minister Talasani Lashes Out at PM Modi

Hyderabad, Feb.9 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for insulting Telangana people and statehood.

After a bike rally along with the TRS leaders and paying tributes at Gun Park with MLA Krishna Rao and others, Srinivas Yadav paid floral tributes at the gun park.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister accused the Modi Government of failing to look into the bifurcation issues in seven years.

He said while the TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao tirelessly fought for the statehood for Telangana, Prime Minister Modi made false charges in parliament on bifurcation.

The Modi Government denied all support, funds, schools, colleges, and projects to the infant State despite repeated appeals, he said, adding if the previous Congress Government failed to address the issues of the two States, as to why the Prime Minister was not resolving the issues for the last seven years, he deplored.

Srinivas Yadav demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi tender an apology for insulting the people and democracy in the country.

While the TRS workers shouted slogans like “Modi down, down”, Srinivas Yadav said TRS supremo K Chandraskhar Rao fought for the statehood and tried to sacrifice his life.

He also objected to the BJP State leadership indulging in false charges against the TRS Government and the chief minister. The BJP should give clarity as to why Modi did not give funds, institutions, projects to the new State, he asked.

He also said the Modi Regime should desist from treacherous politics to win elections in the five States. Instead of addressing Telangana State issues after bifurcation, Modi raked up a fresh controversy, he charged. (Maxim News)
