Hyderabad, September 16, 2026: Registration has opened for the 9th Edition of the Quambiant Global Grace Cancer Run 2026, powered by Evernorth Health Services, which will be held on October 11, 2026, at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.
Organised by the Grace Cancer Foundation, the annual event aims to raise awareness about cancer, promote early detection and screening, and support cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and their families.
Participants can choose from three categories — 2K Run for ₹800, 5K Run for ₹900 and 10K Run for ₹1,200. The 10K is a timed run for serious runners and enthusiasts, while the 2K and 5K categories are designed to encourage participation from families, young people and citizens supporting the cause.
The organisers said the event seeks to turn community participation into a wider public-health awareness movement. This year’s theme is “Run for Grace. Screen for Life.”
The Hyderabad edition is expected to attract around 35,000 participants, while the global event is projected to draw more than one lakh participants from over 130 countries across all seven continents.
The 2026 edition is powered by Evernorth Health Services and supported by several organisations. It is being held in association with Southern California Security Council (SCSC), AMCHAM India, HYSEA and EquippP. LPL Financial Global Capability Center is the Global Social Impact Partner, while Global Grace Health is the Global Partner.
Supporting partners include Ryan, NATCO, NMDC and Newmark. Yashoda Hospitals is the Medical Partner, Eugenix Hair Sciences is the Hair Partner and Invesco is the Hydration Partner.
The Foundation is also planning to list on the Social Stock Exchange (SSE) as part of its plans to strengthen institutional funding for preventive healthcare.
Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli, Founder of Grace Cancer Foundation, said the proposed SSE listing was not merely a fundraising exercise but a strategic institutional transformation.
“Our objective is to build a stronger organisation with world-class governance, robust compliance systems, measurable impact and complete transparency. Every rupee entrusted to us must create measurable social outcomes,” he said.
The Foundation’s next phase includes plans for a Centre of Excellence for Preventive Oncology, 100% AI-enabled mobile cancer screening units, expanded cancer and non-communicable disease screening across India, digital health platforms for underserved communities and research collaborations in preventive oncology.
Dr Sunkavalli, Senior Consultant Robotic Surgical Oncologist, said cancer remains one of the world’s major public health challenges. He noted that many cancers can be prevented or treated successfully when detected early.
“The Global Grace Cancer Run is not merely a sporting event. It is a global movement that combines awareness, prevention, early detection and hope. Every participant becomes an ambassador in the fight against cancer,” he said.
According to the Foundation, the Global Grace Cancer Run has reached nearly 1.4 crore people across more than 130 countries since its inception. Its broader mission focuses on education and awareness, early detection, treatment and rehabilitation, and research.
Participants can register through the official Global Grace Cancer Run website.
