Former TRS MLA Thati joins Congress

Hyderabad, June 24 (Maxim News): Fulfilling his warning to join the Congress party, former MLA of TRS Thati Venkateswarlu from Aswaraopeta Assembly constituency joined the grand old party along with Karakagudem ZPTC Kantha Rao. TPCC chief A. Revanth reddy welcomed the two leaders into the party fold.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao won the elections by promising to give land pattas to the tribals of the State. He alleged that KCR has forgotten about the podu land issues. He also made it clear that it was the Congress party that had made the tribals as owners of the podu lands. He alleged that the TRS party filed cases against several tribals in the State. He also claimed that the TRS government ignored the tribals. He also alleged that the authorities of the State government were carrying out attacks on the tribals and added that the authorities were making layouts by taking away the lands of the tribals.

He said the authorities were not giving pensions on time and added that the salaries of the police were not being paid on time. He said the Congress party would win all the Assembly seats, including two MP seats from the undivided Khammam district. He said the party would be strengthened after the joining of Thati Venkateshwarlu and Kantha Rao. He said the Congress party would come into power in the next 11 months.

Reddy said the implementation of Rythu declaration would solve all the problems of the farmers in the State. He also said they would hold a massive public meeting at Ashwaraopeta soon. He also said the Congress would witness a lot of joinings of rival party leaders in the days to come. (Maxim News)
