BJP also played key role in achieving Telangana State: Union minister Pandey

Hyderabad, July 2 (Maxim News): Union minister Mahendranath Pandey today claimed that his party BJP also had played a key role in achieving separate Telangana State.

Speaking to media persons at Huzurabad Assembly constituency along with local party MLA Etala Rajender and actor-turned-politician Khushbu Sunder, Pandey alleged that the irrigation projects being built by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the State, had become ATMs for Chief Minister and Kalvakuntla family members. He also alleged that the TRS leaders were indulging in corruption in the welfare programs being implemented in the State. He claimed that the Dalitha Bandhu scheme launched by the State government had turned out to be a failure.

Commenting on the Rythu Bandhu scheme of the State government, he criticised that the State government was extending the monetary benefit under the scheme to the owners of barren lands. He called upon the party leaders to ensure the victory of the party under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule.

Khushbu claimed that Chief Minister KCR was a leader with personal ego. She said she was happy to take part in the national executive council meetings of the party in the State. She predicted that the BJP would come to power in Telangana in 2023. She hoped that their party would also form government in Tamil Nadu after the next Assembly elections.

Etala Rajender said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao did not have faith in Indian constitution. He made it clear that the chair of the Chief Minister was meant to protect the constitutional values and added that KCR was treating the chair as his own. He said the Chief Minister KCR did not have the custom to receive the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s visit to the State. He alleged that the CM had spent ₹33 crore in the form of advertisements for promoting himself with an objective to prevent any kind of promotion to the national executive council meetings of the party.

He claimed that KCR had invited the presidential candidate of the Opposition political parties to Hyderabad in order to divert the attention of the people of the State from their party meetings. He said the people of the State were keenly observing the “crooked” nature of the CM and added that the days to teach a lesson to KCR were very near. He said the BJP government at the Centre was keenly observing the developments in the State and added that they would teach a befitting lesson to KCR at the right time. (Maxim News)
