Bandi condemns women VRAs’ detention till midnight

Hyderabad, Oct.12 (NSS): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today condemned the detention of women VRAs (Village Revenue Assistants) by police till midnight. He asked the CM whether the women VRAs did not have any right to play Batukamma at Indira park in the city.

In a statement, Bandi asked the CM whether the VRAs could be arrested for demanding that the State government to fulfil the promise made by the State government. He made it clear to the CM that the problems of the VRAs should be solved immediately and warned that they would intensify the agitation of the VRAs across the State.

He said the KCR government was not responding to the 79-day long agitation of the VRAs. He said the State government was responsible for the deaths of 50 VRAs during the agitation period. (NSS)
