Hyderabad, Nov 27 (Maxim News): Telangana leaders on behalf of BJP and Congress parties in Gujarat Assembly election campaign with the aim that their party’s candidate win in the areas where Telugu voters are high.

As the first phase of Gujarat Assembly election polling will be held on December 1 and the second phase of polling on December 5, leaders who have gone from Telangana are actively campaigning in many constituencies. BJP MP laxman has already conducted one phase of the election campaign. They are getting ready to go again for the second phase of the campaign.

BJP Tamil nadu co-in-charge and former MLC Ponguleti sudhakar Reddy has also been campaigning extensively in Telugu and Tamil areas for four days. Ponguleti is campaigning in support of BJP candidates in several assembly constituencies in Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Surat districts.

On behalf of Congress, former MLA Sampath Kumar, former working president of PCC Kusuma Kumar and many activists are participating in the campaign in support of Congress candidates in Gujarat. While Kusuma Kumar is in-charge of Ahmedabad West constituency, Sampath Kumar is campaigning in areas where Telugu people are present. The second cadre of different districts of Telangana are participating in the campaign there. Many prominent PCC leaders from the state are away from the Gujarat campaign as they are on Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Though the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar has announced BRS converted from TRS and also reports that BRS will contest the Gujarat elections for the first time, TRS leaders also rushed to Gujarat. But BRS stayed away from the contest in that state election. As a result, none of the TRS leaders are talking about this issue, they are maintaining “Gup Chup” (Maxim News)
