Liquor Shop License Applications Last Date Extended In Telangana
Hyderabad, Jan 1 (Maxim News): The excise department got huge Kamai (revenue) in Telangana, earning Rs. 215-74 crores in one day on the occasion of New Year. This amount has come due to the increase in prices despite the decrease in sales of liquor.
Details of retail sales from all 19 depots across Telangana are approximately 2,77,444 cases of liquor, and 1,28,455 cases of beer. In Hyderabad-1 depot sold 15,251 cases of liquor, 4,141 cases of beer with the revenue from Hyderabad-1 Rs. 16.90 crores, income from Hyderabad-2 Depot sold 18,907 cases of liquor, 7,833 cases of beer with this revenue generated is Rs. 20.78 crores. The total income received from these two depots of Hyderabad is Rs. 37.68 crores alone from these two depots of Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
