About 1,200 Phones Of Opposition Leaders, Judges, And Other Were Tapped: Praneet Rao

Hyderabad, May 29 (Maxim News): Former SIB DSP Praneet Rao admitted that the phones of around 1200 people were tapped. About the phone tapping case, the key points mentioned in his testimony came out. It is said that mainly the opposition leaders were spied on and the money going to them was intercepted.

It has been admitted that the phones of leaders, judges, and real estate traders have been tapped. He said that the tapping was done with the help of Convergence Innovation Lab software.

It has been revealed that 17 computers have been used for monitoring phone tapping and 56 SWOT personnel have been appointed. He said that he received orders from Prabhakar Rao to stop the taping after the Congress came to power.

He said that he was instructed to destroy all the records before resigning. It is stated that the records were destroyed and new ones were installed.

It was revealed that the destroyed evidence was dumped in the Musi River at Moosarambagh, Nagolu. It is stated that all CDR and IDPR data have been burned. Formatted phones and pen drives were dumped in Begumpet Nala. (Maxim News)
