- Doctors Complain to Shamshabad DCP Over Fake Medical Certificate
- Telangana Medical Council Asked to Probe ABV Re life Hospital
Hyderabad: The newly constructed ABV Relief Hospital on Rallaguda Road in the Greater Shamshabad Zone of Rangareddy district has landed in controversy even before its inauguration. Local doctors have raised serious objections and approached the police, alleging that a person posing as a doctor is linked to the hospital.
Members of the local doctors medical Association met Shamshabad Zone DCP Rajesh and sought action against Anand Kumar, who they claim is posing as a doctor with a fake medical certificate. They also stated that they have filed a complaint with the Telangana Medical Council. According to the complaint, Anand Kumar Chintapalli not only posed as a doctor but also opened a hospital in Shadnagar in the past and provided medical treatment.
Doctors further said that cases had been registered against Anand Kumar earlier based on complaints by doctors in Shadnagar. However, they now objected to the opening of a hospital under the name ABV Re life on Rallaguda Road in Shamshabad. They alleged that he is misleading people and officials by using the title of doctor despite not having any medical degree certificate. They claimed that he is playing with the lives of people. Therefore, they urged the DCP to take appropriate legal action and prevent him from continuing any medical services.
Medical Association members Dr Amarender, Shamshabad Medical Association president, Treasurer IMA Santosh Kumar, and Venugopal Sivakanth formally submitted a complaint to Shamshabad DCP Rajesh. They asked him to conduct a full investigation and take legal action. Dr Amarender said that IMA Shamshabad has used his name and that it is not right to encourage people who do not have any degree, as he did not give any permission. The association reiterated that authorities should investigate the matter thoroughly and bring out the truth before allowing any hospital operations.
