Hyderabad, Sept. 12: Police detained ABVP and TRSV activists during a student protest near the Telangana Assembly on Saturday.
The activists were demanding the release of pending fee reimbursement and scholarship dues.
They also sought the withdrawal of GO No. 97 and action on other student issues.
Several student groups attempted to move towards the Assembly during the protest.

ABVP and TRSV activists raised slogans against the Telangana government while proceeding towards the Assembly.
Police intercepted the protesters and took them into custody.
The students demanded the release of long pending fee reimbursement and scholarships.
They also opposed GO No. 97, which merges government polytechnics with Young India Skills University.
The students demanded the government address their concerns and resolve other pending issues.
The protests come amid continued student opposition to the government’s decisions on education and skill development.
