Mahabubnagar, July 8: The Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught the Superintendent of the Survey and Land Records Office in Mahabubnagar district while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a complainant.
According to ACB officials, Superintendent Venkateshwar Reddy allegedly demanded and accepted Rs 15,000 to process corrections to a village map in Bhoothpur mandal.
The trap was conducted at the Integrated District Offices Complex (IDOC) in the Mahabubnagar district headquarters, where ACB officials caught the official while allegedly receiving the bribe.
The ACB registered a case against the accused and seized the alleged bribe amount of Rs 15,000 during the operation.
