Adilabad Collector Wins Best Electoral Practice Award

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): Adilabad Collector Rajarshi Shah was presented the Best Electoral Practice award from the State Election Commission for the year 2024 for his outstanding efforts to enroll votes, reduce errors in electoral rolls, and address grievances in recent Assembly and Parliament polls.

He received the award at a program held to mark the 15th National Voters’ Day observed in Hyderabad on Saturday. 

Shah was picked for the award considering his exceptional work in the revision of the voter list and updating process carried out last year.  His significant contributions to ensuring a more accurate and updated voter list, include adding new voters, removing ineligible voters, and effectively resolving objections to the voter list.  

He was congratulated by district authorities for winning the award.  (Maxim News)
