Hyderabad, May 25 (Maxim News): The Telangana legal fraternity has intensified its demand for the immediate arrest of those involved in the murder of advocate Khaja Moizuddin, who was killed in a sensational manner in Hyderabad city on Saturday morning.
On Monday afternoon, a delegation of lawyers associated with the Telangana Bar Council met senior police officials and urged swift action in the case. The delegation was led by Nampally MLA Mohammed Majid Hussain.
The lawyers first visited the old Commissioner’s Office at Basheerbagh and met Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police V. C Sajjanar.

Later, the delegation also met senior police officials at the DGP Office in Lakdikapul and submitted a representation seeking the immediate arrest of the accused.
Bar Council member MAK Mukheed said advocate Moizuddin was known for his clean image and professional integrity. He stated that the Bar Council would continue its protest until all those responsible for the murder are identified and arrested.
The legal fraternity expressed concern over the brutal nature of the killing and demanded a transparent and speedy investigation. Lawyers warned that they would intensify their agitation if police fail to make quick progress in the case.
Police officials reportedly assured the delegation that a detailed investigation is underway and efforts are being made to trace all suspects linked to the murder.
The murder of advocate Moizuddin has created tension among lawyers in Hyderabad, with many demanding stronger security measures for advocates handling sensitive cases.
Members of the legal community said attacks on advocates are a serious threat to the justice system and stressed the need for strict action against the accused.
Police have not yet officially disclosed the motive behind the murder. However, investigation teams are examining multiple angles and reviewing CCTV footage collected from the surrounding areas.
The incident has sparked widespread discussion in legal circles, while political leaders and members of the Bar Council continue to monitor the progress of the investigation closely. (Maxim News)
