Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has expelled Mirza Rahmath Baig from the party with immediate effect, according to a statement issued by the party.
AIMIM Joint Secretary S A Hussain Anwar said Baig had been directed to immediately submit his resignation to the Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council.
The party communicated the decision through an official statement, making it clear that Baig’s expulsion takes effect immediately.

The statement did not provide details of the reasons behind the action against Baig.
