New Delhi, August 29: Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan will undertake a three-day visit to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Keralam and Lakshadweep from August 29 to 31, 2026.
During the visit, the Vice President will attend programmes covering education, public service, cultural heritage, fisheries outreach and industry-academia collaboration.
C. P. Radhakrishnan Three-Day Visit Schedule
On August 29, Radhakrishnan will travel to Erode in Tamil Nadu. He will attend the Founder’s Day celebrations of the Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust.
Later, he will travel to Bengaluru in Karnataka. He will be the chief guest at the centenary celebrations of former Karnataka Chief Minister Ramakrishna Hegde at Vidhana Soudha.
On August 30, the Vice President will visit Keralam. His programme will begin in Alappuzha, where he will attend the 115th anniversary celebrations of Kerala Kaumudi at Leo XIII Higher Secondary School.
He will then proceed to Pathanamthitta to inaugurate the Aranmula Water Festival 2026.
Later, Radhakrishnan will travel to Thiruvananthapuram. He will inaugurate the Onam Pageantry as part of celebrations for Keralam’s major cultural festival.
Vice President to Visit Lakshadweep on August 31
On August 31, Radhakrishnan will travel to Agatti in Lakshadweep. He will attend an outreach programme organised by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying as the chief guest.
After returning to Keralam, he will travel to Kochi and attend the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology.
He will also participate in the Confluence 3.0 Industry-Academia Summit at the RSET Auditorium in Kakkanad.
The three-day visit will bring together programmes focused on education, cultural traditions, public engagement and collaboration between institutions and industry across the four regions.
