AIMIM MLA Jaffer Hussain Raises Power Outage Issue in Telangana Assembly
Hyderabad, Mar 22 (Maxim News): Yakutpura AIMIM MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj voiced concern in the Telangana Assembly over prolonged power outages in Hyderabad following light rainfall.
He pointed out that electricity went off in both the Old City of and New City of Hyderabad at midnight and had not been restored for hours.
Highlighting the hardships faced by those observing fasts during Ramadan, the MLA questioned how such a major disruption could occur due to light rain. He urged the government to ensure a proper mechanism for immediate power restoration and prevent similar issues in the future.
Residents have also expressed frustration over frequent outages, demanding a more efficient response from electricity authorities. (Maxim News)
