All Medical Colleges Should Have Full Facilities Within 3 Years: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, June 16 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed the officials to immediately prepare an action plan for the 34 medical colleges in the state. For this, the CM has ordered that a committee be formed with the officials and that the committee should visit each college and submit a report detailing the needs there, the amount of funds required, the work that needs to be completed immediately, the assistance to be provided by the government and other details.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a review meeting with the officials of the health department at the ICCC on Monday. They discussed several issues raised by the National Medical Council (NMC) regarding the medical colleges in the state. The CM directed the officials to prepare a comprehensive report on all these issues including recruitment in government medical colleges, promotions of teaching staff, increase in salaries in hospitals affiliated to medical colleges, medical equipment required for the respective colleges, and filling of vacancies.

The CM said that the funds to be released from the state government will be released immediately. The CM said that if there are any issues related to funds and permissions from the Union Health Ministry, they should be informed immediately and that they will be resolved by contacting Union Minister JP Nadda and the officials of that department.

The CM said that Japanese language should be taught as an optional subject in nursing colleges and that there is a demand for our nursing staff in Japan. The CM revealed that the Japanese government is ready to support us in this regard. The CM suggested to the officials to study the issue of using an app to monitor the patients coming to hospitals, the doctors examining them, and the timings of hospitals.

CM Revanth Reddy said that the education and medical sectors are very important and ordered a review of these two departments in the third week of every month. (Maxim News)
