AP Cabinet Gives Its Nod To Crucial Proposals
Amaravati, Feb.23 (Maxim News): AP cabinet meeting held in the city today gave its approval to several important decisions. The cabinet meeting was chaired by the chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
The cabinet has given its approval to a calendar meant for the implementation of Navarathna schemes this year in the state.it has also approved the decisions related to the implementation of various welfare programs from April this year to January next year . With the approval of the calendar, the the calendar related to the implementation of the welfare programs that will benefit 5.8 crore people of the state would come into force. On the other hand, the state cabinet has given its approval to the implementation of EBC nestham scheme in the State. The scheme will benefit the women belonging to EBC category to the tune of ₹45,000 in a period of three years. The scheme is meant for the women between the age group of 45 years to 60 years.
The cabinet has also approved a proposal to handover tidco houses to beneficiaries for just one rupee. The cabinet has also taken up discussion on the conduct of upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections. Speaking on the occasion CM YS Jagan said that the state government was ready to hold all kinds of elections in the state. The CM heaped praises on all his cabinet colleagues for securing unprecedented victories in the just concluded Sarpanch elections. The CM said that the party had won more than 80 percent of the seats like never before in the history. The cabinet has also decided to pass a resolution on the Vizag steel plant issue in the upcoming assembly session of the house. (Maxim News)
