AP HC Asks Sessions Judge To Record Dr. Sudhakar’s Statement

Amaravati, May 20 (Maxim News): Andhra Pradesh High Court passed crucial orders in case related to arrest of Dr. Sudhakar. It asked a sessions judge of Visakhapatnam to visit the hospital where Sudhakar is undergoing treatment and record his statement.

It also asked the judge to submit the statement of the doctor by Thursday evening. The doctor was arrested in Vizag by police after allegations that he was fighting with local people on Vizag national highway. The police also booked a case under sections 353 and 427 of IPC for causing obstruction to a public servant from discharging his duties. The traffic Constable Madhu Babu who beat up the doctor was suspended by the police department. Later Sudhakar was shifted to a mental hospital after KGH doctors came to the conclusion that his mental condition was not stable.

Sudhakar was suspended by the state government few days back for making allegations that the doctors involved in the treatment of Covid 19 patients and suspects didn’t have face masks to wear while extending treatment. (Maxim News)
