Aspirations Of The Telangana People Have Not Been Fulfilled So Far: Guv

Hyderabad, June 2 (Maxim News): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said that the Telangana people’s aspirations for the water, funds and appointments have not been fulfilled so far.

Speaking on the occasion of 10th Formation day of Telangana which was held in a grand manner at Raj Bhavan today, the Governor said that Telangana is not only about seeing the development of Hyderabad, but only if the remote villages are also developed, the real development will be felt.

The Governor paid tribute to the heroes of Telangana and honoured the activist, she said that Jai Telangana is a slogan of self respect. She said that many development programs have been done in the state with the help of the Central government. She said that every moment of her life she works for the people.

Governor got emotional while remembering the martyrs. Telangana Formation Day Celebrations were held grandly at Raj Bhavan. As part of the celebrations, the Governor cut the cake at the Raj Bhavan The Governor danced enthusiastically with the dancers there. Later, the Govenror said, she remembered the sacrifices of the martyrs. For the first time, the Governor delivered her entire speech in Telugu. It is God’s blessing to become the Governor of Telangana which was achieved through many struggles.

She said that the Telangana movement has a special place in the modern world. She thanked the martyrs of Telangana by name. She said that she feels lucky to remember the names of those who sacrificed their lives as part of the formation of Telangana. three hundred people were martyred in the first phase of the Telangana movement. She said that Telangana has seen many special things during the decade. Telangana is not a slogan. It is a slogan of self respect. Governor Tamili Sai wished everyone to participate in the development of Telangana. (Maxim News)
