Bandi’s Rhetoric against KCR — Vain, Nauseating

Hyderabad, April 19 (Maxim News Special): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s rhetoric that Telangana State and the people have become captives in the clutches of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, that there is need to get rid of his family rule, and that they (BJP) will not leave KCR but send him to jail, is nothing but meaningless, cheap and nauseating to say the least. People of the State will not tolerate such vain talk against KCR, who had struggled hard and achieved separate Telangana State and who has been implementing many programs for the benefit of different sections in the State, which are unheard of in the BJP-ruled States in the country.

This is the reaction (to the BJP leaders statements) of an octogenarian, who claimed that he is an ordinary supporter of the BJP, but not a blind follower of its policies. Can Bandi or Union Minister G Kishan Reddy name one BJP-ruled State where welfare schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Dalit Bandhu, free power supply to agriculture, double bed room house, KCR-kit to pregnant women, Mission Bhageeratha, Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak, and so on are being implemented? Can the BJP leaders deny the fact that KCR had provided water for cultivation of thousands of acres of additional area through building up Irrigation projects in the State? Can the BJP leaders deny the fact that the State has been ranked among the top 3, 4 States in development year after year, while many of the BJP-ruled States stood at the bottom in ranking, he asked.

The BJP supporter asserted that it is really unfortunate and shocking that Bandi is saying that after coming to power, the BJP will facilitate celebration of Hindu festivals and that KCR is betrayer of Hindus, while the fact remained that under KCR’s regime, festivals of all religions are celebrated and the people are happy with the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in the State. It is clear that the BJP leaders are bent upon misleading the people and dividing them on communal lines, just for political gains.

INJUSTICES TO STATE

Another point made out by him is the injustices being perpetrated by the BJP government at the Centre against Southern States in general and Telangana in particular and the Centre’s total failure to implement the assurances doled out at the time of State formation. These, coupled with the promises made by the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the eve of elections will become a very long list. The people are well aware of the same and one wonders on what basis the BJP leaders are contending that it will come to power in the State, he pointed out. (Maxim News)
