Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): It is known that a car accident occurred in Banjara Hills on Saturday morning. A speeding car lost control and ran over people sleeping on the footpath. One person died in the accident and another was seriously injured.

However, the accused fled the scene, leaving the car behind. The police, who registered a case, have launched an investigation. A short film director from Nizamabad district has been identified as the culprit behind the car accident.
Police said that the accused had been drinking heavily with his friends until midnight. He then left for home at 3 am. He was said to have driven the car at high speed while intoxicated.

However, when he reached Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, the vehicle lost control and rammed into people sleeping on the footpath.
One person who was seriously injured in the accident died on the spot, while another person was injured. Later, the accused left his vehicle there and fled. During the investigation of the case, he was identified as a resident of Nizamabad district. (Maxim News)
