Hyderabad, Feb 10 (Maxim News): Though the ruling Congress Party is saying that no survey has been conducted in any state across the country regarding caste census.
The Congress party claims that a scientific survey has been conducted in Telangana state using a full staff of more than one lakh people.
Accordingly, there will be schemes and reservations. The Congress party leaders are saying that they are trying to take the state forward on the path of development.
The TPCC chief questioned why the BRS has not conducted a survey regarding caste census even though it has been in power for the last ten years and why it is criticizing it today.
They say that the BJP has no right to talk about the caste census. Has a survey been conducted regarding caste census in BJP-ruled states so far? Has justice been done to the BCs? and why is the BJP talking about the BCs today? Congress leaders questioned.
KTR said the caste census survey report is a scrap of paper. Meanwhile, after holding a meeting with the BCs yesterday (Sunday), KTR said that they discussed many things.
The caste census survey report released by the state government is like a draft. The Congress, which said it would provide 42 percent reservation in the BC declaration, said that it is not appropriate for the party to now give 42 percent to the BCs.
KTR said that those reservations must definitely be implemented. KTR also said that there is no scientific basis and that a re-survey is needed regarding the survey.
Harish Rao said Congress, which promised to implement 42 percent, demanded that reservations be implemented in local body elections as promised. On the other hand, BJP state President Kishan Reddy and Union Minister Bandi Sanjay said that Congress and BRS seem to have the same policy. They have been following the same policy since the past.
They accused both parties of going together. They accused them of trying to include Muslims in BCs. They accused them of trying to do injustice to BCs here. They also said that they will launch a movement on this.
BRS l;eaders say that they will hold huge public meetings on this. BRS is planning to hold a large-scale meeting in the same area where the Congress had previously announced the BC declaration. BRS leaders say that KCR will also attend this meeting.
Congress is also planning to hold a meeting on the issue of caste census survey, schemes available to the people and schemes to be implemented accordingly, etc. BJP is also saying that it will launch a movement. Politics has heated up in the state with the parties holding rallies. (Maxim News)
