Big Shock For Drug Addicts: Liquor Prices Hiked In Telangana

Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): A big shock has hit drug peddlers in Telangana. The government has increased the prices of liquor drastically. The excise department has issued a circular to the show stating that the prices of liquor are being increased.

It has increased the price of a quarter bottle of liquor by Rs. 10, half bottle by Rs. 20, and full bottle by Rs. 40.

Meanwhile, the Telangana government, which recently increased the prices of beer, has now decided to increase the prices of other liquor as well. However, the government has increased the prices only on some brands. The increased prices will be available from midnight today.

In 2020, the then government introduced the Telangana Special Excise Cell. The excise department, which introduced the special excise cess again, has increased the cess on liquor bottles. The excise department has again restored the special excise cess. (Maxim News)
