Big Shock For Maoist: More 64 Surrendered In Kothagudem
Hyderabad, Mar 15 (Maxim News): Another big shock for the Maoist party. Police said that 64 more people have surrendered before the Telangana police. elangana Multizonal IG Chandrasekhar Reddy said that focusing on rehabilitation and employment for the Maoists will be fruitful.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, IG Chandrashekhar said that the security forces are losing their self-confidence due to the series of encounters in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Chhattisgarh. He also said that the security forces are combing the forests and, on the other hand, since it is autumn, the Maoists are inclined to surrender due to the safe zones.
The police said that all those who have surrendered so far have been identified as belonging to the Bijapur and Sukmaz districts of Chhattisgarh state. It was revealed that the most wanted Maoist Hidma commander is a member of the PLGA Battalion-1 committee.
It is said that the main focus is on the surrender of the Maoists and the Telangana police is strengthening surveillance on the borders on the one hand and focusing on surrenders on the other. Chandrashekhar said that 122 Maoists surrendered before the Bhadradri Kothagudem district police in the beginning of this year in a period of two and half months. The government is implementing the surrender policy in Telangana at an early date. Telangana Multizonal IG Chandrashekhar Reddy said that they are focusing on rehabilitation and employment for the surrendered Maoists.
