BJP Corporators attempt to barge into the GHMC mayor’s chamber

Hyderabad, Nov.23 (Maxim News): BJP Corporators from the city today tried to barge into the chamber of GHMC Mayor and raised slogans against the Mayor. However the police present at the office foiled their attempts. They arrested the Corporators and took them to a nearby police station.

Speaking on the occasion, the Corporators demanded the Mayor to immediately convene termed body meeting of the corporation. They said that no development work was taken up in the corporation limits even after holding the general body meeting in virtual mode five months back. They alleged that the meeting was not being held as it would expose the irregularities committed by the mayor and the ruling TRS party Corporators.

They also alleged that the authorities were not releasing money to contractors concerned even after sanctioning them. They alleged that the mayor was ignoring public problems. They warned that they would intensify their agitation programs if the mayor did not respond to their demands. (Maxim News)
