BJP Leaders Urge CS To Launch Drought-Relief Works

Hyderabad, July 16 (Maxim News): The State BJP leaders on Tuesday wrote an open letter to Chief Secretary SK Joshi urging him to concede their demands.

In the letter, BJP leaders Bandaru Dattatraya, DK Aruna, BJLP leader Raja Singh demanded that the Chief Secretary supply drinking water through tankers in all the towns of the State. They also demanded that the State government declare 435 mandals in the State as drought-hit besides demanding free supply of seeds to the farmers of the State.

The leaders also demanded waiver of Rs 1 lakh crop loans availed by the farmers of the State besides taking steps for the sanctioning of the new loans. They also demanded that the State government implement PM Fasal Bhima Yojana in the State. (Maxim News)
