BJP MLC Protests For Not Being Invited To Metro Train Inaugural Function

Hyderabad, Feb.7 (Maxim News): BJP Council floor leader N Ramchender Rao lodged his protest for not being invited for inauguration of Metro Train between JBS and MGBS. The 11-km route with nine stations was inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today.

Speaking to mediapersons, the BJP MLC said it was a “breach of protocol “as the State government has failed to extend invitation to a local MLC for the function. He said the government’s move was deliberate and intentional for not having invited an Opposition MLC to the function. He said it was the government’s responsibility to follow protocol and invite all public representatives for such programs. “I lodge my strong protest for violating protocol norms,” he said.
