BJP Withdrew Rs 8 Cr From Bank To Lure Voters: Talasani
Hyderabad, April 9 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav alleged that BJP was splurging money to woo people in Telangana for votes in the ensuing polls.
Talking to mediapersons here today, the minister said the BJP has withdrawn Rs 8 crore from a bank in Secunderabad and was luring people with money. Though the BJP talks of ethics, its leadership was indulging in distribution of money to voters, he charged. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respond on the money seized by police and reply to people, he demanded. The BJP State leadership might have withdrawn several crores of money for distribution among voters, he alleged. “We are aware about the place of money withdrawn by the BJP leaders”, he said.
The Prime Minister, who talked of using cheques should now respond about money being used by the BJP leadership, Srinivas said. He sought immediate action against the bank officials. The TRS will move court and lodge a complaint with the RBI in this regard, the minister said.
Talasani further said despite using money and weaving conspiracies, the BJP and the Congress will lose the battle of the ballot. The Congress is ought to get 100 MP seats, BJP 150 seats in the polls, he said. The TRS leadership under KCR will play a key role at the Centre after the polls. He hoped that KCR’s federal front will unite regional parties to form into a coalition. There was no chance for the BJP to retain power and the Congress will face defeat, he added. (Maxim News)
