Bomb Threat Email Triggers Security Alert At RGIA

Hyderabad, July 23: Security agencies launched emergency checks at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad, after receiving a bomb threat email claiming that an aircraft departing from the airport had an explosive device on board.

Authorities immediately activated security protocols and carried out a thorough inspection.

Security Checks Find No Explosives

According to officials, the threat email alleged that a bomb had been placed on a flight departing from Shamshabad and could explode during takeoff.

Following the alert, airport authorities and security agencies conducted comprehensive searches and implemented emergency measures.

After completing the inspection, officials confirmed that no explosive device was found and declared the threat a hoax.

Authorities are investigating the origin of the email and efforts are underway to identify the person responsible.
