Hyderabad, July 10 (Maxim News): The Bonal festival is about to begin in Bhagyanagaram. Hyderabad’s Ashadha Bonal festival will begin from the 16th of this month. The first Bonal will be offered to the Golkonda Jagadambika Mahankali Ammavaru. Minister Konda Surekha unveiled the poster and brochure of the Ashadha Bonal festival today (Friday). Speaking on the occasion, he said that Bonal is a symbol of Telangana Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb. He said that Hindu-Muslim unity is an ideal for the country. He said that Golkonda Bonal is a symbol of Telangana culture and traditions. He revealed that the Bonal festival will be held from July 16 to August 13.
The minister instructed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for lakhs of devotees. Special attention should be paid to traffic, parking, queue lines, drinking water and medical services. Instructions were issued not to compromise on cleanliness, electricity and security. All departments should cooperate in offering Bonala to Shiva Satthu. Special measures should be taken for the safety of devotees with the help of a police control room. Special facilities should be provided for children, the elderly, pregnant women and nursing mothers. Minister Konda Surekha advised the officials to work in coordination so that devotees can have a satisfying darshan. (Maxim News)
