BRS MLAs Seek Inquiry Into Congress Scams In Telangana

Hyderabad, March 29: BRS MLAs seek inquiry into Congress scams in Telangana and wrote to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy demanding a probe. They asked for an investigation by a House Committee or a sitting judge.

In the letter, MLAs listed 19 issues and sought action. They alleged corruption and irregularities in multiple departments. Moreover, they claimed public anger has increased over these allegations.

The MLAs said the government failed to control corruption. They also alleged involvement of ministers and public representatives. Therefore, they claimed this has affected public trust in governance.

They stated that public money is being diverted due to these scams. As a result, welfare and development have suffered, they alleged. They also said promises of transparency remain unfulfilled.

The MLAs referred to a statement made in the Assembly. They said the Chief Minister had assured action if complaints were submitted. Therefore, they urged him to order a judicial inquiry.

They demanded strict action against those involved. In addition, they called for recovery of public funds. Meanwhile, they submitted details of 19 alleged scams in their letter.

The list includes civil supply, solar power, and land related cases. It also covers Singareni, NTPC, and excise related issues. Further, it mentions illegal mining and infrastructure projects.
