Budget Lacks Clarity Of Funds: Bhatti

Hyderabad, Feb.25 (Maxim News): Leader of the Opposition Mallu Bhatti Vikramrka today opposed the ruling party for presenting a vote-on-account budget rather than a full budget.

He started the discussion on the Appropriation Bill in the House that was presented by the Leader of the House and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Vikramarka also sought to know as to why the State government preferred the interim budget instead of a full budget with inadequate allocation of the funds to several departments. He also took potshots at the ruling party for poor allocations to sectors like education, health and flagship programs.

There was no relation between the proposals made and the plan of action for the schemes and the programs to be implemented, Vikramarka felt. He flayed that Leader of the House was trying to blame the Opposition for its remarks for the welfare and development. (Maxim News)
