Bus services from Mancherial to Medaram begins

Mancherial: The State-owned Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), Mancherial division, commenced special bus services to Medaram of Mulugu district for the convenience of devotees who congregate to worship Sammakka-Saralamma deities during the bi-annual festive fair. The Corporation’s divisional manager M Malleshaiah formally inaugurated the bus services on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Malleshaiah said that the special bus services were commenced for ferrying devotees to Medaram in participating in the fair. He stated that a bus would start in Mancherial at 7.30 am, while a service would leave for Medaram from Chennur town at 7 am and another service would proceed to the holy place from Bellampalli at 7.30 am.

The divisional manager further said that the fare for commuting by the buses from Mancherial town was Rs 215 for adults and Rs 110 for children. Adult passengers who travel in the services would be charged Rs 250, while the cost Rs 125 for kids. The fare of the service from Chennur to Medaram is Rs 210 for adults and Rs 105 for children.

Malleshaiah urged the public to utilise the service. He stated that travelling by bus services of the corporation was comparatively safe and affordable. Mancherial depot traffic in-charges Sariya and Narayana, drivers and conductors were present.
