Cabinet To Discuss Today on Lockdown In State
In the wake of surge in Covid-19 cases in the State, the Cabinet is scheduled to discuss the issue of imposing lockdown in the State and take a decision.
Hyderabad: The Cabinet meeting will hold a meeting at 2 pm on Tuesday at Pragati Bhavan under chairmanship of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. In the wake of surge in Covid-19 cases in the State, the Cabinet is scheduled to discuss the issue of imposing lockdown in the State and take a decision.
Despite the imposing lockdowns in several states, there are reports that it was not yielding the desired results and the Corona cases continue to increase. There is a difference of opinion on impact the lockdown with certain sections of the society seeking a lockdown in the State. Under these circumstances, the Cabinet will discuss and decide on the impact of the lockdown on the ongoing paddy procurement process in the state, along with the pros and cons of imposing the lockdown.
