Hyderabad, May 7 (Maxim News): The State Cabinet is to be held on May 28 and approve some important decisions like new Revenue and Municipal Acts and other schemes. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will chair the cabinet meeting.
Chief Secretary S K Joshi has directed officials of various departments to give details like proposals, suggestions and decisions to be taken by May 25. The cabinet is to approve programs like Rythu Bandhu, Aasara and other schemes as poll code will end in the last week of this month. KCR has taken a decision to hold the Assembly and Council sessions for three days from May 29 to 31 and the government was focusing on the sessions.
The Chief Minister was favoring new Revenue and Municipal Acts to make them people-friendly and corruption-free governance and the cabinet will take related decisions, it is said. The cabinet is to approve the new Acts and its bills will be passed in the Assembly session. The results of general elections will be out on May 23 and elections for local bodies in Telangana will be held on May 14.
