Case Filed After Priyanka Gandhi’s Misleading Posts On The Madhya Pradesh Govt

Indore/Hyderabad, Aug 13 (Maxim News): The police have registered a case against the Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who has accused the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh of rampant corruption,  BJP leader Nimesh filed the complaint that Congress leaders are spreading false propaganda that government officials are harassing contractors for 50 percent commission.

Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Kamal Nath, and Arun Yadav in their tweets on social media platform X on Friday made serious allegations against the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in the state.  He said that the letter written by Gynanedra Awasthi saying that the state government officials are demanding 50 percent commission from contractors is doing the rounds on social media.  He said that the contractors union of the state had recently written a letter to the Chief Justice of the High Court.  They said that they are paying the money due to them only after paying 50 percent commission.

In a tweet given by Priyanka, “The corrupt BJP government in Karnataka used to collect 40 percent commission.  In Madhya Pradesh, BJP broke its own record in corruption.  The 40 percent commission government was ousted by the people of Karnataka, and the people of Madhya Pradesh will remove the 50 percent commission government from power, she said.

Kamal Nath and Arun Yadav also tweeted in a similar manner.  Reacting to this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Chouhan said the opposition congress party is spreading lies.  Home Minister Narotham Mishra responded and asked Priyanka to show proof of these allegations.  He warned that legal action will be taken for spreading false propaganda.

According to details disclosed by Indore Police on the Twitter platform, BJP Legal Cell convener Nimesh Pathak has complained about Congress leaders’ tweets.  The complaint stated that a letter purporting to be written by Gyanendra Awasthi is doing the rounds on social media.  The letter alleged that the contractors were being demanded to pay 50 percent commission.  Pathak alleged that the Congress leaders had hatched a conspiracy to tarnish the reputation of the BJP along with the state government.  Based on this complaint, the police have registered a case against Awasthi and the handlers of the accounts of Priyanka, Kamal Nath, and Arun Yadav and are investigating.

Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Ramsanehi Mishra told the media that a case has been registered against the handlers of the accounts of Priyanka, Kamal Nath, and Arun Yadav.  He said that a case has been registered at Sanyogita Ganj police station in the city on charges of fraud and forgery.   (Maxim News)
