Center is Copying Schemes of TRS Government: Harish Rao

Siddipet, Oct.7 (NSS): Minister for Finance T Harish Rao said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had achieved nothing during his eight years tenure, except he was copying the schemes of the TRS government.

Speaking at a program after attending the swearing-in ceremony of the newly constituted Doultabad and Thoguta Market Committees at Dubbaka in the district on Friday, Minister Harish Rao said the Centre had failed to meet the needs and requirements of the public and moreover, it had increased the prices of the domestic cylinder, petrol, and diesel.

Harish Rao alleged that about Rs 12,000 crores dues to be paid to Telangana had been pending with the Centre for some time and the union government was trying to create hurdles for the progress of Telangana State.

Despite restrictions being imposed by the union government, the Telangana State has been progressing on all fronts and it has become a role model for other States in the country, Harish Rao said.

The Minister said the Union government was copying the schemes of the Telangana government and was implementing the same with other names.

Mission Bhagiratha was copied as ‘Har Ghar Ko Jal,’ and Mission Kakatiya as ‘Amrit Sarovar.’ Rythu Bandhu is being implemented in the name of PM Kisan Yojana,” he pointed out. (NSS)
