Delhi/Hyderabad, May 26 (Maxim News): The center has shocked again. It has increased the prices of CNG once again. It has increased the price of CNG by Rs.2 per kg. The increased prices have come into effect from today.
With the latest hike, the price of CNG in Delhi has gone up from Rs 81.09 to Rs 83.09. This is the fourth time since May 15 that CNG prices have been increased. On May 15, the Centre first increased it by Rs 2 per kg and then by one rupee each twice. With the latest hike of Rs 2, CNG prices have increased for the fourth time. With the total increase of Rs 7 in the last 11 days, there will be an additional burden on motorists, auto, cab and transport sectors.
The Centre, which had repeatedly announced that it would not increase fuel prices before the elections, has been increasing prices continuously since the elections. It has recently increased fuel prices once again. On Monday , petrol prices were increased by Rs 2.61 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.71 per liter. With the latest hike, the total increase per liter since May 15 has reached Rs 7.5. This is the fourth time in the last 11 days that fuel prices have increased. In Delhi, the price of a liter of petrol has increased from Rs 99.51 to Rs 102.12, while the price of a liter of diesel has increased from Rs 92.49 to Rs 95.20. (Maxim News)
