Dr K Laxman Criticises Opposition Over Parliament Disruptions
Speaking in New Delhi, Dr K. Laxman alleged that repeated disruptions by the Congress had affected the functioning of Parliament and resulted in the wastage of public money.
Referring to the alleged NEET paper leak, he said 17 people had been arrested in connection with the case. He asserted that those responsible for compromising the future of students would not be spared.
Dr Laxman said the government would ensure speedy justice through the proposed fast track courts for paper leak cases.
He criticised the Opposition for continuing its protests despite the Centre’s assurance that measures would be taken to prevent future examination paper leaks.
The BJP leader also accused Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of politicising the issue, while alleging that Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi had acted irresponsibly by disrupting Parliament instead of participating in a discussion.
