Chain Snatching Gang Arrested In Ramagiri: Seize Gold Chain, Bike From Accused

Ramagiri/Hyderabad, Jan 23 (Maxim News): Police have arrested two accused who were involved in chain snatching targeting women in the Ramagiri police station limits under Ramagundam Police Commissionerate. Gold chains and a two-wheeler were seized from them.

On this occasion, Peddapalli DCP B Ram Reddy, ACP Madatha Ramesh, Manthani CI B Raju, and Ramagiri PS disclosed the details at a press conference organized on Friday. They said that the arrested accused have been identified as Komre Praneeth and Sheikh Safiddin. The police revealed that for some time now, they have been targeting women walking alone in Ramagundam, Peddapalli, and Godavarikhani areas and committing chain snatching. During the police investigation, they said that they are accused in several cases. The officials revealed that they were arrested and gold chains, bikes, and two mobile phones were seized from them.

Peddapalli DCP Bhukya Ram Reddy congratulated Ramagiri SI T Srinivas, Divya, and Mutharam SI Ravi Kumar for solving this case. He said that a special reward will be given to SI T Srinivas. He advised the public to be vigilant and provide information about suspicious persons to the police immediately.  (Maxim News)
