Chairman Bakki Venkataiah Directed Police To Take Steps For Speedy Justice In SC And ST Cases

Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News):  A review meeting on SC/ST crimes was held today at the Rachakonda Commissionerate office under the chairmanship of Bakki Venkataiah, Chairman of the Telangana State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission. The meeting discussed the developments in cases related to attacks and discrimination against Scheduled Castes.

Speaking on the occasion, Bakki Venkataiah suggested that steps be taken to ensure that SC and ST cases under the Rachakonda Commissionerate are investigated quickly and justice is served to the victims. He also said that the currently pending cases should be examined, the investigation should be completed as soon as possible and justice should be provided. He said that the authorities should also take care of every case registered under the SC and ST Act (Atrocities Act).

Rachakonda Commissioner Sudheer Babu said that legal steps are being taken to ensure higher punishments by speeding up the investigation of SC and ST cases in his commissionerate. He assured that special attention is being paid to ensuring that justice is served to the victims without any delay in the legal process.
