Yadadri-Bhongir: TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu escaped unhurt in an accident involving his bullet proof vehicle on NH 65 near Dandumalkapuram of Choutuppal mandal on Saturday. Naidu’s bullet proof vehicle was partially damaged.
The incident took place when Chandrababu Naidu was going to Hyderabad from Amaravathi in his convoy. To avoid hitting a cow, the driver of the vehicle with signal jammer in the convoy applied sudden brakes. With the jammer vehicle screeching to a halt, the other vehicles in the convoy piled up ramming into each other.
The bullet proof vehicle, third in the convoy carrying Chandrababu Naidu also collided with the escort vehicle from its back side. Chandrababu Naidu did not receive any injuries in the incident and three security personnel received minor injuries. Out of eight vehicles in the convoy of Chandrababu Naidu, three vehicles collided with each other in the incident.
After the incident, Chandrababu Naidu went to Hyderabad in another vehicle with the security coverage of National Security Guards (NSG).
