CI, Two Constables Caught Taking Bribe by ACB in Makthal

Makthal/Hyderabad, Feb 18 (Maxim News): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a Circle Inspector (CI) and two constables red-handed while accepting a bribe in Makthal, Narayanpet district.

CI Chandrasekhar and constables Shiva Reddy and Narasimha were caught taking a Rs. 20,000 bribe in connection with a case.

Another Bribery Case in Bhadradri District

In a separate incident, ACB officials arrested a Forest Range Officer and a Beat Officer in the Bhadradri district. The officers had allegedly demanded a Rs. 30,000 bribe from a farmer for permission to dig soil from forest land.

Following a tip-off, ACB officials raided the Komaram Forest Range Office in Illendu Mandal and took action against the accused officers. (Maxim News)
