Army Boys Sports Company Rally From April 6

Secunderabad, Feb. 16 (Maxim News): The 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad, will conduct an open induction rally for the selection of sports cadets into the Army Boys Sports Company from April 6 to April 12, 2026.

The rally will focus on identifying both raw and proven players in Volleyball, Kayaking and Canoeing disciplines.

The Army Boys Sports Company aims to induct young talent and train them under professional supervision.

Therefore, eligible candidates within the specified age group can participate in the rally scheduled at the 1 EME Centre in Secunderabad.

Army Boys Sports Company | Age, Education and Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be between 08 to 14 years of age. They should be born after April 6, 2012 and before April 6, 2018. Moreover, candidates must have passed at least 3rd standard from any school. They should also have adequate knowledge of English and Hindi.

The medical fitness of applicants will be examined by the Medical Officer of the Army Sports Institute along with a specialist from the Army Sports Medicine Centre.

Additionally, State, National or International level medal winners will be given priority during selection. However, candidates with any type of permanent tattoo on any part of the body are not eligible to apply.

Facilities and Future Opportunities

Selected candidates will be designated as sports cadets. They will receive free boarding and lodging. In addition, they will be provided education up to 10th standard, living accommodation, insurance cover and medical facilities.

Scientific coaching will also be given to enhance their sports performance.

Later, eligible sports cadets may be enrolled in the Indian Army under the provisions of the Army Recruitment Rules.
