CM asks Committee report in 15 days on projects, defers gazette notification
Hyderabad, Oct.14 (Maxim News): As Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) has said that it will implement Gazette Notification on projects and water issues from Oct 14, Telangana government appointed a committee to study the same.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has appointed a committee to be headed by ENC Muralidhar. The chief minister sought it to submit a report in 15 days.
He directed the committee to conduct a study on the water, and projects issues and prepare details. The report with findings and an opinion of the state would be sent to the centre.
The Krishna board asked the officials concerned of Telugu states to give support by releasing orders to take over five projects and some outlets and points. AP govt is ready and Telangana opposed it.
Now the CM sought time and ordered a study report on the same.
The centre released the Gazette Notification to address related issues among warring TS and AP.
KCR already asked the centre to defer the gazette notification as it would hamper state interests. (Maxim News)
